OPR Unchanged @ 2.75 percent
OPR maintain at 2.75 per cent after the second Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) in 2011, held on 11 March 2011.
This mean the OPR keep unchanged for the past 8 months since the last increment from 2.50 to 2.75 in July 2010.
The unchanged of OPR until second quarter of 2011 are speculated before and were expected to increase starting from third quater until year end.
