2010 IPO Performance of all 29 new IPO listed in 2010, with highlights of the performance on the First Day closing and closing as at 30 December 2010.
IPO is stand for Initial Public Offering, where a company do the first sale of their stock to the public.
In 2010, there were 29 new IPO offered to public, with 23 listed on Main Market and 6 listed on ACE Market. In 2009, the were only 14 new IPO listed.
Attached below is the performance of all the 29 new IPO listed in 2010 as at 30 December 2010. The table below shown the different between First Day Closing price with IPO price, and also Closing price as at 30 Dec 2010 with IPO price.
From the table, out of 29 new stocks, 17 stocks closed higher than the opening price on the first day listed on Bursa Malaysia, while only 12 stocks closed higher than the opening price as at 30 December 2010.
Will 2011 boost the stocks performance?

Last yr PCHEM dah dpt dan masih maintain. CarePlus pula gagal. Awal tahun 2011 ni pulak nak cuba Benalec & Tambun, hopefully sukses n lot of premium..

apply IPO tu tak semestinya dpt..bergantung kepada size share tu…kalau demand lebih dari size share, maka terpulang kepada cabutan

Better buka a/k CDS dulu, rugi x ambil peluang mcm MME & PCHEM kerna 1 lot bersamaan 100 unit shj. In case PCHEM, kos beli 1 lot@5.05 = 505+2.50(cimb clicks charges)..
